Health campaigns

Our health priorities focus on giving access to high quality services for everyone in Oldham when they are sick. We also emphasise the role that encouraging healthy living can play in better health and well-being.

The level of health inequality in Oldham is high and life expectancy, in certain parts of the borough, is among the shortest in the North West. Our local, five-year health plan sets out how we‘ll reduce those inequalities and improve life expectancy.

As part of this work to improve the health and quality of life of local people, NHS Oldham has set up and supported local schemes and been involved in rolling out national campaigns locally.
