NHS Oldham has managed to make £31m savings over the last two years – and would like to thank staff, clinicians, local people and partner organisation for your support.
The savings, which have been made as part of a detailed financial plan, mean we are now in one of the strongest financial positions in Greater Manchester, as we hand over increasing control of NHS finances to local GPs.
We have put together a document detailing the work which has taken place over the last two years and outlining the challenge ahead – with a further £30m to find over the coming three years.
As part of the government’s commitment to greater transparency, NHS organisations are required to publish online, expenditure over £25,000, from April 1, 2010 onwards.
