HEALTHY PEOPLE HEALTHY LIVES HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
NHS Oldham has been working with others, such as Oldham Council, doctors and local people to extend the range of services available across Oldham and to develop community-based services that are fit for the future.
Five new health and wellbeing developments have been built across Oldham over the last few years and each offers a variety of clinical or meeting rooms that are available to book.
The following developments have been built in the last few years and you can find out more about them by visiting www.community1stoldham.co.uk
A map of where the centres are located is provided at the end of this document, along with travel details.
Bookable rooms are available at each of these centres that are spacious, fresh and welcoming and suitable for many purposes, including: consultations; examinations; treatment; minor surgery; counselling; meetings and conferences. There is also a training kitchen, which can be used to teach young people how to use kitchen equipment, for example.
NHS Oldham can cater for all your requirements, whether you are providing a clinical service, arranging a meeting for two people, or a conference for 25 people.
Clinical rooms
All clinical facilities are designed to the highest NHS standards of patient safety and infection control. A clinical room will typically be equipped with: an electronically operated couch; weighing scales; a height chart; a computer; a blood pressure monitor; non-touch taps and up to date clinical/non clinical waste segregation. NHS Oldham will also provide gloves, aprons, blue rolls and paper towels.
Meeting rooms
To help you to get the most out of your meeting the following ‘high tech’ equipment is available in some of the rooms: interactive smart board; white board; projector and screen; a computer and a hearing loop system.
Complimentary refreshments are included in the price the meeting room. NHS Oldham can also arrange catering, from cold buffets through to evening meals, for an additional charge.
To keep things simple, all of NHS Oldham’s bookable rooms are priced by the session (per four hours), rather than by the number of people.
To discuss the prices, check room availability and to book a room, email NHS Oldham’s central booking team at olp-pct.WernethPrimaryCareCentre@nhs.net. You will receive a response within 24 hours (Monday to Friday).
When you book a room you will need to provide the following details:
Once you have booked the room you will receive an email that will confirm the details, cost and where you can collect the keys.
